Any questions you have about emulation? Ask away, my friends. For I shall try my best to answer them. From Nessie to Ps2's Pcx2.

What's a good ps1 emulator? How do you get it to work? And do you need roms or the actual game?

Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner, connection died out. SO, I'd say, the best Ps1 emulator I've used it ePSXe. To get it to work is a different story. If you have a good PC, with an above average graphix card, 1GB of RAM, pentiumII or better. With the right plug-ins, you can actually make Ps1 games' graphics look better then on an original machine. So, if you're able to run an N64 Emulator with no trouble, then it'll smoke the PS1. www.epsxe.com . I'm not too sure if the site provides plug-ins for the emulator, but the emulator download comes with default plug-ins, so people don't have to take it empty handed. As for ROMs, well... With ePSXe, you get the option to use a Rom OR an actual game. Meaning, you just pop your game into the CDROM drive, and play. It's pretty neat. If you need any further help, you know who to ask. <3
