Personally, I think this is bad news for Sony. Especially seeing as right now they're competing with Nintendo. The launch of the 360 was good timing, they had no competition so it didn't matter if they didn't have a lot of units out at their launch or not. But for Sony this is nothing but bad news.

It did matter that the 360 didnt have much, it would have mattered more if the ps3 was on time, because if it WAS on time, then the 360 would be hooped for christmas sales this year. But because the PS3 is screwing up, the 360 sales are gonna rise, and bet your buns the price wont go down.

But not quite as much because at the time no other systems were being released. That's just the way I see it anyways.

Maybe people where backtracking to handhelds because they had more games? Either way, I'm sure every company is gonna screw something up. (except for the Wii of course, they're to low pro)

And that makes me wonder, how much do they decide not to tell the public? And are there really more games for handhelds, or does it just seem that way?

It's all a CONSPIRACY. BUT really though, if you're going on a date, are you going to tell your date all the things you fucked up on, and all the bad things you've done? "Oh yeah, Cindy, one time, I was drinking castor oil, while masturbating myself to the dog. Where do you want me to pick you up tomorrow?" Yeah, I have a weird way of explaining things, but as long as it's coherant. I'm always happy for that.

Well I know that, they obviously aren't going to point out the faults with it (until they come up with something better. Then they have to point out the old systems faults and how they fixed it). But it just makes me wonder nonetheless.

And that makes me wonder, how much do they decide not to tell the public? And are there really more games for handhelds, or does it just seem that way? ummnn.. there are not more games for handhelds if you compare them to..lets say ps2 or xbox. But lets say you get a DSLite, it can play both DS and GBA games which adds up. (still less than xbox and ps2 im sure) but if you compare it to something like 360, or gamecube (or psp) then you're matching them pretty good for quantitiy. We also have to remember that it LOOKS like gamecube has alot of games out, (take a look at my store the next time you're in) but most of them have been sitting there FOREVER. The prices hold high, and they dont sell as much, but if you check ps2 and xbox they've had a million titles out, and within a year a price can drop drastically. (EB has mario party 5 (GC..duh) for over $45 still me thinks, and mp 7 came out before xmas) Anyways.. maybe they only have a few games out because of the price? Honestly, if you have a choice of Mario Party 4 for lets say.. $45.99, and Mario Party 7 (with microphone capabilities!) for $59.99..I'm gonna spend a wee bit more to get a game thats this year rather than 4 years ago...and now I've gone cross-eyed. (oh.. and I FEEL like and expert because I work(ed) at EB, so yeah..)
